Time to Change Your Filters
Have you checked out the air filters in your home recently? Often homeowners forget to check their air filters if they are not in a place that you see every day. During the summer months, each air filter should be changed out every 30 days. This will help prevent drain issues and will allow your system to be receiving and circulating clean air. This can also help people who have allergies and are sensitive to contaminants in the air.
Here are three easy things to do to make sure you’re changing these every 30 days.
1. Set a reminder in your phone to change on the 1st of the month.
2. Take a picture of your filters so you know what size and what kind are best for your home. (If you’re not sure, give us a call and we can help you out.)
3. Have a stock of clean air filters available so you don’t have to run to the hardware store every month.
